Work with us

Directly employed, properly trained, paid the Real Living Wage. We hire people who like being the one who fixed it.

Open roles

All roles are permanent unless stated. We reply to every application within five working days.

Nothing here that fits? Send us a note anyway at careers@corestonefm.co.uk. We keep good people in mind.

What you get

Beyond the salary. These are the three things people actually leave a job over.

Training that counts

Funded qualifications — 18th Edition, IPAF, SIA top-ups, IOSH — and time off to do them.

Kit that works

Modern vans, decent tools, uniforms that fit and phones that aren't ten years old.

A manager who answers

Every team has a named manager with a direct line. Same rule as for our clients.

How hiring works here

Four steps, no assessment centres, and a reply either way.

  1. You apply

Email us with whatever you have — a CV, or just a note about what you have done. We reply to every application within five working days, including the ones we are turning down.

  2. A conversation, not an interrogation

First conversation is usually a phone call with the manager you would actually work for, not a recruiter reading from a form.

  3. Come and see the work

For site-based roles we will take you to a site. You should know what you are saying yes to, and we would rather you turned us down at this stage than in week three.

  4. Checks and offer

Right to work, references and — for security roles — SIA licence and BS 7858 screening. We tell you what we need up front so nothing stalls.

Questions from candidates

Are these agency roles?

No. Every role listed is directly employed by Corestone, on our payroll, with our terms. We use agency cover only in genuine emergencies, and we are trying to need it less each year.

What does Real Living Wage mean here?

It means the independently calculated rate published by the Living Wage Foundation, not the government's National Living Wage. Every directly employed role is paid at or above it. [Employer accreditation status to be confirmed by the client.]

I don't have an SIA licence yet — can I still apply?

For security roles you will need one before you can work a licensable post, but talk to us anyway. We fund SIA top-up training for existing staff and can advise on the route in.

Do you take on apprentices or trainees?

[To be confirmed by the client.] If there is an apprenticeship or trainee engineer route, it belongs here — it is one of the first things a good candidate looks for.
